Family & Consumer Sciences

The Family & Consumer Science Department provides elective courses that offer practical information for individuals and families and the skills necessary to prepare for making the decisions needed to establish a healthly lifestyle.

The mission of Family & Consumer Science Education is to prepare students for independent living, family life, work life and related careers.

The courses offered include Introductory Foods - Grades 8&9, Foods I, Independent Living Skills and Child Development. Each course is aligned with the Massachusetts Comprehensive Health Frameworks. Comprehensive Health Education at Drury High School is a collaboration of the components of Health Education, Physical Education and Family & Consumer Science Education

 
 

Ms. Moitozo

Ms. Moitozo has been teaching at Drury High School since September 1998. She is a honor graduate from Framingham State College and previously taught at Adams Memorial Junior High School.

Ms. Moitozo is the mother of three children and is a former child care provider. She is currently an active member of several commitees at the high school and enjoys kayaking, gardening, and travel.
